If your goal for your web site is to spice it up a bit, make it more visually appealing, and maybe add some features, read on.

That's simple enough and comes down to experimenting with different page layouts, adding some pictures, and things like that, but it does require a little bit of planning and production to perform a face lift type of operation that would extend throughout your site. This kind of operation can range from around $500 to a few thousand depending on the amount of time and emphasis you would like to spend redesigning as well as the current structure of your site, i.e. how it was built. For instance, each page of your site has some kind of navigation interface. If the site was built in a way that allows a web designer to simply create a new menu item and swap that with the old one, that will cost much less then if it's built in such a way that the new menu bar has to be swapped into every web page individually. In some cases, to perform changes like these, it may make more sense to start from scratch. However, you may not want to redesign. You may want to change one thing here and another thing there in which case design costs are drastically lower--in the $50 -$100 range. My ability to serve you, cost, turn around time, and the effectiveness of our efforts depends on what you want to do and why and how clearly those things are communicated and understood by myself or your web/graphic designer or webmaster.

For example, there are a number of free statistical tools that you can use to keep tabs on how many hits you're getting, from where, how well your site's performing, and how well your marketing efforts are performing. These are a great low cost ways to measure responses to marketing and advertising campaigns. If your are not using tools like these on a regular basis you should consider making them a top priority as they are very inexpensive to install, free to use, and they provide a valuable window into the performance of your site, your visitor's behaviors, and other important traffic details.
